A truly art house Kino, usually no trailers before the movies ( what a miracle!) just pure d’essai!

A nice local gem.

Great atmosphere, good movies, good local beer, decent food and terrible theatre experience on warm summer nights.

The bar is really nice. Their own beer brand is good and prices are decent. The crowd seems to be entirely from the neighborhood and the vibe is of a local joint. It is a smoker’s bar so not much fresh air is available.

The cinema shows only indie films in original languag, so catching a movie in English, or Spanish or Italian is easy enough. Subtitles will be in German. Admission is cheap. The equipment isn’t for AAA action films so projector and sound system is good but isn’t “Sony-Center good.” Come with the right expectations. Seating is vintage including a couple of sofas.

Unfortunately the viewing rooms are not air-conditioned or ventilated and summer will have you dropping sweat and gasping for air. I would not recommend watching a movie if the temperature was high that day. Even a late night will be difficult to sit through.

Cute movie theater but Kino #5 has no AC or ventilation and on hot days you get cooked in that one.

Me and my friend had a very nice experience watching a silent movie with live musical accompaniment! For free. (A Cottage on Dartmoore)

Lovely vibe and nice ambient music. Lasagna was super nice but was a bit disappointed by the service. I was told it would take 20 minutes for the lasagna to be prepared and I waited 40 minutes and wasn’t served my orange juice for the entire time waiting as well. The place wasn’t very busy either. Would’ve been great otherwise but I left with something to be desired.

We had such a great time
I love how everything is so ancient but still clean and comfortable

The only downside..
Is that if a person seats in front of you…
His head will be the main character

Hands down one of the best movie theaters. The Staff is friendly and kind and always have a Positive word to say. The theater is always clean and the popcorn is always my go to when I go there. I’m hooked to there 3D Experience theater, I make sure to bring all my friends.
